This year, 28 June will play host to the famous march for tolerance and freedom for all, also known as Gay Pride! This walk is well known for celebrating the rights and pride of all individuals! There will be a party atmosphere with music, dance and spectacle throughout the day!
Events will begin at 2 pm at Luxembourg metro and participants will follow a path that will take in Paris’ biggest boulevards and squares including Boulevard Saint-Michel, Boulevard Saint Germain, Pont de Sully (money collection point), Boulevard Henri IV, Place de la Bastille, Boulevard Beaumarchais, Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire, Boulevard du Temple and Place de la République!
For those arriving at the finishing point, a huge concert is planned at Place de la République from 4 pm to 9 pm! More than a million people are expected this year for this unmissable event! Bedecked in colour, more than 90 floats will parade the streets of Paris to a musical soundtrack while promoting an array of bars and nightclubs, radio stations and gay rights associations.
If you would also like to support this cause and enjoy a festive day out, sign up on the event website as a participant or volunteer!
