From 22 March to 31 August, the Musée Art Ludique will host the world’s first large-scale Marvel exhibition. Visit to discover historic panels of your favourite comic strips, concept drawings and illustrations created for major film productions, and a retrospective of more than 300 original panels! Works by Jack Kirby – creator of Captain America, Thor and X-Men, to name but a few – will be on show, alongside works by Steve Ditto and the many Marvel contributing artists.
A focus on the Marvel Studios is a chance to view the real film accessories such as the famous Iron Man helmet, the Thor hammer and the Captain America shield, alongside character research drawings, costumes, story boards and even vehicle designs! The visitor pathway will be interspersed with videos and commentaries from legendary comic book writer Stan Lee, who recounts the story behind his designs, his influences and inspiration. Other commentaries from artists such as Joann Sfar, Zep and Olivier Coipel complete the pathway.
