There is so much to do that it is not always easy to decide where to go. To help you, here is a selection of five monuments you must see during your first trip to Paris.

This is the city’s main tourist attraction. This 324-metre high steel tower is located in the 7th district. Built by Gustave Eiffel (from 1887 to 1889) for the World’s Fair of 1889, it still attracts millions of visitors today. Three floors are open to the public. They are accessible by stairs (for the fittest) and lifts. From the highest floor (310 metres), you can admire the whole city. Check out our tours to the Eiffel Tower.

The Arc de Triomphe

The Arc de Triomphe is located in the 8th district of Paris, on the Place de l’Étoile, at the western end of the famous Avenue des Champs Elysées. 50 metres high, this monument is also accessible to the public. It was built from 1806 to 1836 on Napoleon’s orders. Buy Arc de Triomphe tickets.
